A course on FAIR Data Stewardship in Life Science is being organised by ELIXIR Italy, EOSC-Pillar Project, the ICDI Competence Centre, and EOSC-Life, in collaboration with ELIXIR Netherlands. The course is focused on FAIR data management and stewardship. It provides the skills, tools, and standards required to embed Open Science in the research workflow, covering many aspects, such as: Open Science in Horizon Europe, Open Access in publishing, Research Data Management (RDM), FAIR principles, Open Data, and Data Management Plan.

The vision of 5 years ago has turned into a mission. The vision started the European Open Science Cloud that has become a major driver of the transition to Open Science. Today, EOSC is fulfilling its promise and will offer researchers in Europe a virtual environment with open and seamless services for data. There will be services for storage, management, analysis and re-use of research data, accessible across borders and across scientific disciplines and communities. EOSC does so by federating existing data infrastructures from all over Europe.

The event organised by FAIRsFAIR, ICDI and EOSC-Pillar was an opportunity for Italian researchers and professionals to learn best practices about successful implementation of the FAIR principles.

EOSC-Pillar and DICE hosted a joint webinar on FAIR data management. A chance to discuss new findings and recommendations for the implementation of EOSC, share the difficulties encountered when making data FAIR, discover services to support you in making your data FAIR.
