The EOSC-Pillar Open Call for Thematic Service Providers closed at the end of February 2021. Six applicants were been invited to further improve their services with support from EOSC-Pillar experts, and subsequently present them during the virtual hackathon taking place in mid-June.

The EOSC Portal Catalogue & Marketplace acts as a user-friendly entry point to the multitude of services and resources for researchers across different domains, provided by leading European and international organisations. EOSC Enhance launched an open survey targeting the entire EOSC community.

The EOSC-Pillar webinar held on 27 October 2020 aimed at outlining existing research on OS policies as well as getting insights from experts working in the field. The University of Vienna produced a report, now available on the EOSC-Pillar Zenodo community.

EOSC-Pillar's Work Package 4 "From National Initiatives to Transnational Services" recently produced an essential deliverable, presenting the legal and organisational aspects of services delivery in a federated environment, including recommendations for actions that enable service providers to position their services for improved interoperation in the context of the EOSC services landscape.
